These portraits for teens from Afghanistan were created by members of the LCHS National Art Honor Society. The Memory Project invites art students to create and donate portraits to youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges such as neglect, abuse, loss of parents, violence and poverty. These portraits honor the lives of those individuals with “kindness through art.”
