A deed book that has been restored and repaired.

An older book that is being stored, for people to see the old English as well as the old cursive.

This room is the file room, and all of the red files are criminal cases that have occurred in Louisa County.

Inside the courthouse there is a room full of deeds, wills, and indexes over the years that haven't made it on to the computers yet.

An original land deed that was handwritten, refurbished, and is now available for public viewing.

Old deeds that have been recorded and preserved in books for many years.

The chamber where the Judge resides when court is being held.

Records from the 1700's are kept in books and are in the process of being restored.

This stone in front of the courthouse is in honor of veterans who have lost their lives.

I enjoyed one last sunrise before I started the drive back home.

I started the four hour trip to Outer Banks with some schoolwork for my history class.

I sat outside on the balcony doing my homework on a peaceful morning while the sun is shining.

The destination begins to get closer as I take a break from school work and look out the window to see the water coming into view.

I enjoyed the soft breeze with the windows down as we continued the drive to North Carolina

A bright afternoon and great weather greets me as we arrive at Outer Banks.

I took a walk in the evening as the time went by and the sun began to set.

I took time to sit out and enjoy the beach while also spending quality time with family.

Even though the sun has set, the waves can still be heard on the house balcony.

Later in the night, I pulled out my computer and was able to get some work done before heading to bed.

I read to myself in the early morning as I watched the sunrise and enjoyed the quietness.

The sun continues to rise as more people wake up and join the morning.
