I love hearing that story over and over, too. I wasn’t concerned when she told me because I was realizing how blessed I was to actually be talking to my baby when she called. As opposed to getting a call from authorities telling me I would never be hearing from her again! I only wish I could have been with her on the second hike when she realized the water was only two or three feet deep along the edge.
