This past weekend, the school’s concert band participated in the Concert Assessment. The band, consisting of 8 wind instrument players and 7 percussionists, were evaluated on their ensemble and sight reading. Based on their performance, the concert band received high rankings in both categories and was recognized for an “Excellent Rated” ensemble and “Superior Rated” in sight reading.

“I am looking forward to creating music here and building the lore and tradition of the LCHS instrumental program,” band director Micah Lee wrote in an email. “But none of this would have happened without [the school and communities] flexibility and support. I thank [the school and community] again and am grateful for this family and the privilege of building our program to greater heights.”
