Our Louisa County Lions are headed to the next round of the playoffs with a win of 47-13 against Jefferson Forest in The Jungle. Salem Spartans are coming to town in the Regional Semifinal rematch in the Jungle. The Lions are excited about the rematch because of the 55-7 loss last year and are ready to change it this year.

In last week’s game, the Lions scored on the game’s third play with a 65-yard run from Savion Hiter. Next, Landon Wilson ran a one-yard touchdown and threw one to Dyzier Carter for a 25-yard touchdown. Hiter finished the first half with a twenty-yard run to make the score 28-7. In the third quarter, Wilson threw a 30-yard and a 23-yard touchdown to Carter. Wilson finished the game with a 38-yard throw to Gavin Anderson.

According to dailyprogress.com, Louisa County is looking to have the upper hand because of our win against Western Albermarle 56-0 while Salem only beat them 42-0. This will be the first-ever High School Game Day in The Jungle. All students and fans are invited to deck out in their green and gold to show their support. Cheer for your Louisa Lions in the Jungle at 7:30 tonight.
