The holiday season begins as Thanksgiving and fall events come to an end. With only three weeks left of the semester, it’s time to get festive. Louisa will be hosting holiday parades, festivals, pictures with Santa, crafts, music, food and tree lighting ceremonies to bring everyone together during the month of December. All donations from the event will go to help fund the Louisa County Parks and Recreation and the Tourism Department.

The holidays are all about giving back. The school is hosting a clothing drive to help families along with a toy drive sponsored by the club Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). The Tuesday after Black Friday is now known as Giving Tuesday. Its purpose is to motivate people around the world to give back to their community. So spread that holiday cheer and start helping others in the community.
