Taylor Swift has been a hit on stage and in the music industry. The record-breaking performer and lyricist is bringing her own twist for an at-home experience, allowing people to relive her recent tour in film.

Fans theorize the film will be inclusive and affordable, allowing more people to attend. According to today.com, tickets have been priced at around $20 for the film, whereas tickets for the concert, according to ticketnews.com, ranged around $50-$900.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to experience and enjoy the film at little cost,” sophomore Emma Ryan said.

With the in-person experience of sounds and people, Ryan thinks the concert is still likely to be more popular than the film.

“You had to be there and in the moment with everyone around you, giving you a rush,” Ryan said. “Her music is a 10/10 and I love that she has multiple genres that reach so many different groups,” Ryan said.

Other students believe the film will be more popular than the concert because of the second chance people have been given to see it.

“It’ll be more behind the scenes and pure raw footage, giving people who didn’t go to the concert an experience of a lifetime,” sophomore Melinda Staudinger said.

Swift’s music taps into many stories of her life with her 10 albums, which she has recently amended, bringing more listeners and fans.

“She’s so smart changing her music because she’s reaching even more people and making more money,” Staudinger said.

After the excitement for the tour and film, Swift is predicted to be successful because the film will continue to support her.

“She’s gonna be more famous and that’s because she’s been hyped up a lot more with her tour,” Staudinger exclaimed.

The music industry is filled with a wide variety of artists, but Swift is unique because of her added life experience.

“She’s a role model who has different genres for people to listen to,” junior Addison Smith said.

“She differs from others because of how she puts herself into her music, making her real.”
