What to do during Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving break is coming up and there are plenty of festivities. Here is what is happening  in and around Louisa during fall break.

 

   Nov 22 (1:00-8:00 PM): Be Thankful You’re Not a Turkey Party

Coyote Hole at Lake Anna will have a vendor market, specials on ciders and new food for tasting. 

 

   Nov 23 (9:00 AM): Third Annual Mineral Turkey Trot 

This event is a 5K/3.1 mile walk or run through the Town of Mineral.

 

   Nov 23 (9:00 AM-12:00 PM): Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 

Tune into NBC to watch the 97th annual Thanksgiving Parade. There will be floats, balloons and marching bands.

 

   Nov 24 (10:00 AM-7:00 PM): Christmas Market Grand Opening  

Fruit Hill Orchard will be opening up for the winter season and is hosting a Christmas market. They will have fresh cut trees, gifts, baked goods, warm apple cider, coffee, decorations, wreaths, and a limited supply of later variety apples.

 

   Nov 25 (12:00-7:00 PM): Presents & Pints 

Cooling Pond Brewery will have a holiday gift market, live music and a variety of food and beverages.

 

   Nov 25 (1:00-3:00 PM): S’mores with Santa  

Enjoy an afternoon of visiting with Santa, s’mores and a walk around Elysium Tree Farm.

 

   Nov 25 (6:00 PM): Holiday Wreath Making 

Everleigh Vineyards is hosting a wreath making class, all materials are provided and food and beverages are available for purchase.

 

   Nov 25 (6:00-9:00 PM): Dueling Pianos 

Log Home Brewery will have music from the Dueling Pianos and food and drinks for sale.
