Spreading Kindness: Louisa County High School is the winner of Operation Kindness. Students have been collecting items such as t-shirts, toothbrushes, books, and many more to make care packages for veterans and military service members. Overall, LCHS students collected 2,755 items. Since LCHS is the winner, the Central Office administration will bring ice cream for students.

“Schools and school divisions put a lot of emphasis on kindness which is really huge in our society,” Director of School Counseling Todd Ryan said. “It’s really beneficial to all the kids that are in the school system, and the fact we put it up the forefront of our student’s minds just makes this place a better place to be.”
