This Friday, April7, the LCHS Hiking club will be partnering with the Leadership class to put on an evening full of events including a cornhole tournament and a bonfire. Both events will take place at the LCHS Band field from 4pm to 8pm.

To start off the evening, the Hiking Club will host a cornhole tournament from 4pm to 6pm. The tournament will consist of 32 teams fighting to become the 2023 Cornhole Champions.

It costs $10 for teams to play in the bracket style tournament with single round elimination. Teams will then have the opportunity to buy a spot back in the tournament after elimination for $5. The winners will receive two cornhole board sets with customized bean bags.

During the tournament, the Hiking Club will also sell baked goods, tickets for a 50-50 raffle, and LC Hike merchandise.

Immediately after the cornhole tournament ends, the focus will switch over to the bonfire put on by the LCHS Leadership class from 6pm to 8pm. With free admission, there will be music, games, s’mores, and hot chocolate. A table will also be set up for people to purchase bonfire shirts as a way to support the Leadership class.

Come out and enjoy this evening with all of your classmates and friends to kick off spring break.
