Girls Basketball playoffs

  Wednesday, Feb. 8, Girls Basketball hosted Charlottesville for a game defining the top seed for the Jefferson District tournament. Girls won 62-51. 

  Friday Feb. 10, Girls hosted Charlottesville again for the first round of the Jefferson district play. Jefferson district consists of the teams in the surrounding area. Western Albemarle, Fluvanna, Charlottesville and Louisa competed in this tournament. Girls beat Charlottesville 56-45. 

  Monday, Feb. 13 Western Albemarle and Louisa moved on to the Jefferson district championship. Both teams traveled to Albemarle for a neutral area. Girls Basketball beat Western 40-30 for the Jefferson District Championship. This is the third year in a row that the team has been Jefferson District Champions. 

  Friday Feb. 17, Girls Basketball will host Halifax for the Region 4D Quarterfinals.  At 6:30, pack the student section with Black out. 

Tuesday Feb. 21, Girls Basketball will host Salem for the Region 4D Semifinals. At 6:30, pack the student section with Camo out.

Friday, Feb. 22, Girls basketball will host Pulaski for the Region 4d Championship after a 48-33 win against Salem last night. At 6:30, pack the student section with Neon/Construction wear.
